I
am a mother of 5. What mother doesn’t want pictures of their children as
they grow and meet life’s challenges? I am a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse and
know, thru personal experience and loss, how important pictures can be to a
parent. Thru these experiences, I was fortunate enough to be allowed to
record those precious beginnings for thousands of newborns. After a time,
these precious ones’ families and friends requested photos of their continuing
life events. I have been honored to be able to participate in recording
their joys.
I
am a self-styled photojournalist of sorts. This means that I try to capture
the moment, rather than pose it and control it. I want to come to your environment
and capture your events, your joys, your loves, rather than try to create
an event that does not reflect the reality of your life.
Because
I am a mother of 5 and have lived on a Military salary, I know how tight a
budget can be, therefore, I have set my prices to be lower and more affordable
to the average family without having to wait long periods of time in the
Mall for a photo that does not truly reflect your family’s personality.
I
have been awarded Honors in Photojournalism including Best of Show in
Photojournalism 2003 in the International Photo Competition at the Western WA
State Faire which included photos from over 30 Countries.
I
look forward to helping you capture and preserve those special moments in
your life.
